Dc/dc converter modules meet railway rolling stock needs

The ERM dc/dc converter modules meet the power demands and safety standard requirements of railway rolling stock applications. They provide up to 92% efficiency. Encapsulated in a compact quarter-brick form factor with metal base-plate, the converters are protected from atmospheric conditions.

The dc/dc converter family features a reinforced insulation system. It complies with the railway industry specifications EN 50155 and 50121-3-2 and has been tested to the vibration and thermal shock requirements of EN 61373. Each series includes eight models with 5, 12, 15, or 24-V outputs and input ranges of 43 to 101 Vdc or 66 to 160 Vdc. The operating temperature range extends from -40° to 85°C with derating.
