Suited for DrMOS power devices, the dual-channel SC2447 dc/dc step-down converter can produce two independent outputs of up to 30 A each or a single output up to 60 A. Features include a programmable frequency up to 1 MHz per phase, an input voltage from 4.65 to 15 V, an output voltage as low as 0.5 V, and out-of-phase operation for low input current ripple.
Housed in a 28-lead TSSOP package, the part also includes hiccup overload protection and soft-start/enable pins for each output. ($1.95 ea/1,000—available now.)
