Dc/dc converter powers LCDs in portables
The Power Pack dc/dc converter accepts 5 V and is available in a 0.67 (L)
x 0.47 (H) x 0.24 (D)-in. package with outputs of -12 V at 25 mA and -22.5
V at 12 mA. It is also available in a 0.98 (L) x 9.94 (H) x 0.35 (D)-in.
package with a -30-V, 34-mA output. The converter is designed to provide
the contrast adjustment voltages required by liquid-crystal displays in
