Dc/dc step-down converter is smaller

The 1.5-A SI-8000T and the 3.5-A SI-8000F dc/dc step-down converter series have reduced die sizes, between 62% and 84% of the previous generation of devices for the same current levels, the SI-8000J/S series, respectively. Also, the SI-8000H series breaks new ground, offering a significant line-up that exceeds 5 A.

The SI-8000T/F operates at 300 kHz, the SI-8000H at 150 kHz, the SI-8000J at 125 kHz, and the SI-8000S at 60 kHz. All devices provide UVLO protection and autoregression OCP and OTP protection. ($0.66 to $1.37 ea/1,000prod qty, 12 weeks.)
