Three new lines of brush-commutated dc gearmotors—the GM8000, GM9000, and GM14000—provide output torque of 175 oz-in. using standard sintered steel spur gearing, and as high as 500 oz-in. with selected gear ratios and high-strength gears. The GM8000 motors come in 11 versions with standard reduction ratios from 6.3:1 to 1,803.6:1, while the GM9000 features 12 reduction ratios from 5.9:1 to 4,732.5:1 and the GM14000 offers four ratios from 5.9:1 to 218.4:1.
