A Coreless rotor means there’s no cogging or preferred rotor position. It has an extremely low current consumption, starting voltage and rotor inertia for extremely fast acceleration and braking. It is light compact, and smooth with accurate speed, position, and torque control. It also has higher power to volume than other DC motor technologies. This data sheet refers to the 1024 S DC Motor with precious metal commutation and a speed up to 12,000 rpm and torque up to 1.28 mNm.
