The iPOS3604 HX-CAN intelligent motor drive offers a compact solution for sinusoidal or trapezoidal control of DC brushless motors using up to 144 watts. The drive can also handle open- or closed-loop control of 2- or 3-phase step motors. It has a supply range of 12 to 36 Vdc with a continuous current of 4 A, (10 A peak) and a PWM frequency of 20 KHz.
The 80 x 55 x 16 mm unit includes single or multiple-axis control functions with PLC functionality. It interfaces with an incremental encoder, sine/cosine encoder, or digital Hall sensors, can operate as a CANopen drive, and can be programmed to execute complex motion programs using the high level TML motion language and EasyMotion Studio software.
