The 3863 CR dc micro motor has ZHN48 magnet material for torque performance of 150 mNm at 8,000 rpm. The motor is available for 12-, 18-, 24-, 36-, 48-V operation and can be equipped with a three-channel encoder and combined with a wide range of precision gearheads.
The motor’s low-friction torque and high thermal resistance allows for continuous operation at 6.9 A in the 12-V version. No load current is 0.48 A in the 12-V version, with a stall torque of 1,200 mNm. The unit uses ball bearings preloaded, and its weight is 400 g. ($295 ea/100 — available now.)
