Dc servo motors minimize cogging

The Pittman Series 14000 brush-commutated dc servo motors incorporate 11-slot skewed armatures to minimize magnetic cogging. Features include two-pole stators, sintered bronze bearings, ceramic magnets, copper graphite brushes, silicon steel laminations, diamond-turned commutators, and heavy-gauge steel housing.

The motors come in seven lengths and achieve peak torques up to 420 oz-in, maximum continuous torque to 50 oz-in, and speeds to 3,930 rpm. Speed, voltage, current, and torque characteristics can be varied to meet application demands. (Contact Greg Hamlin for pricing and availability.)
