The SourcePoint debug and trace tool supports ThreadX real-time operating system and provides greater visibility into the context of OS resources and the execution of multithreaded programs. It gives EEs multiple views of the code execution at any point in a program. Resource monitoring includes threads, timers, queues, semaphores, mutexes (mutual exclusions) and other components of the OS.
In addition, two hardware modules support the SourcePoint debugger. The cost-effective LC-500Se Run-Control Probe provides software debug via JTAG, and the LX-1000 Trace Port Analyzer, has two Gbytes of memory for trace results. SourcePoint Debug starts at $3,950.
