The AVR ONE! high-end debugger system for AVR and AVR32 microcontrollers speeds programming and supports non-intrusive observation and logging of embedded system operation. Faster communication between the PC and the target MCU speeds debug data flow and programming of MCUs with large flash memories.
In addition to basic programming and on-chip debugging via the traditional 4-pin JTAG port, the package supports debugging via the Nexus port, an 8-bit parallel port found on all AVR32 devices and connected by a separate processor data bus. The Nexus debug interface allows a real-time trace on a non-bondout version the MCUs to the debuggers 2-Gbyte buffer. The unit is supported by AVR32 Studio v2.0 project manager and debugger front-end. ($599—available now.)
