Design and experiment with circuits on your smartphone

iCircuit is an easy to use, educational app for designing and experimenting with circuits

Perfect for students, hobbyists, and engineers, iCircuit allows you to design and experiment with circuits, just as if you were working with the real thing.

The app's advanced simulation engine can handle analog and digital circuits, and features real-time always-on analysis. You can add elements, connect them together, and set their properties, just as you would with any CAD program. But unlike other CAD programs, this handy app is always simulating, as it's just like working with the actual circuit.

Features

With over 30 elements to build your circuits with, this app has everything you could possibly need, from simple resistors and switches, to MOSFETs and digital gates. iCircuit also features a multimeter so you can probe around the circuit to instantly read voltages and currents. To see how a value changes over time, you can add values to the built-in oscilloscope, which can simultaneously track many signals over time. The scope features a touch interface to control the time displayed, and stacked and unstacked modes to compare signals in a simple matter. The app also includes visualization of voltages using red and green coloring, and visualization of current direction and magnitude through animation.

iCircuit supports the following elements:

• Signal generators, voltage sources, and current sources

• Resistors, capacitors, and inductors

• Manual SPST/SPDT switches, and SPST/SPDT relays

• Diodes, BJ transistors, and MOSFETs

• Speakers, buzzers, and LEDs

• ADCs and DACs

• Logic gates: AND, OR, NAND, NOR, XOR

• JK and D flip-flops

iCircuit is compatible with Android devices 2.1 and up,  iOS devices 4.3 or later, and versions 7.5 and 8 of Windows Phone. Because it's a very CPU intensive app, it's recommended that iCircuit is used on newer generation hardware.
