Design kit has 460GT CPUs, SRIO, GbE, PCIe

The Arches Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) form factor dual-processor reference design kit highlights the AMCC Power Architecture 460GT processor. The kit features Serial RapidIO (AMC.4), Gigabit Ethernet (AMC.2), and PCI Express (AMC.1) interconnects.

The package includes hardware/software development tools, open-source middleware for interprocess communications from Enea, RapidFET RapidIO network management and diagnostics, and system-level benchmarks. The card design includes two 1-GHz 460GT processors, 1 Gbyte of DDR2 SDRAM, 128 MBytes of NOR flash, 1 GByte of Micro-SD flash, two serial ports on the front panel, six 10/100/1G Ethernet ports (two front panel), a x1/x4 SRIO port, and a x1/x4 SRIO/PCI-Express port.
