Design kit targets video surveillance

The Video Surveillance Development Kit is based on a Blackfin DSP and a CMOS image sensor. The kit uses the latest processing innovations, including two parallel peripheral interfaces (PPI) units supporting ITU-R 656 video data formats and dual Blackfin cores within a single chip.

The kit comes as a small-form-factor 2 x 3-in. single card and is backed by factory trained and certified application engineers. ($499—available now.)
