Design platforms aid Virtex-7 development

The KC705, DSP, and VC707 development kits supporting the Targeted Design Platforms approach to fast development with 28 nm Kintex-7 FPGAs. The KC705 kit provides a framework for systems using DDR3, Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe, and other serial standards and includes SFP+ and SMA connectors for use with GTX transceivers.

The DSP kit includes the KC705 board, plus dual-channel 800 Ms/s 16-bit A/D converters and dual-channel 250 Ms/s 14-bit A/D converters for signal processing using the FPGAs DSP48E1 arithmetic processing engines. The VC707 evaluation kit is aimed at advanced systems that need the highest performance and highest bandwidth – while maintaining low power. All three kits support FMC specification expansion cards. ($1,695 to $3,995 each available now.)
