The HWCHAS and the 1444 / 1441CWW series desktop chassis are designed to replicate the look of consumer electronics from the 1950s and ‘60s. They are aimed at high-end hi-fi equipment and retro-styled instrumentation.
HWCHAS units have walnut frames fitted with black-powder-coat or natural-finish aluminium tops and optional bottom panels; they are available in two sizes: 13 x 10 x 3 in. and 17 x 10 x 3 in. The 1444CWW models are fabricated from aluminium with a natural finish, and the 1441CWW models are made of steel with a black powder coat finish; both types are fitted with walnut end panels on the shorter sides and come in six sizes ranging from 7 x 5 x 2 in. to 17 x 10 x 4 in. (In single qty: 1444 / 1441CWW from $57; HWCHAS from $85 — available now.)
