OKW Gehäusesysteme has added two more sizes to its EVOTEC range of enclosures. In addition to the already available EVOTEC 200 enclosure, OKW has released the 150 and 250 versions, which come with different top parts.
The two new versions offer the choice of operating modes and large interface surfaces. That, in turn, allows them to be used in diverse application areas, including measurement and control engineering, medical and laboratory technology, and renewable energy.
The EVOTEC 150 enclosure is available with two flat top parts that differ in height. Here, variations are possible, depending on the required interface panel or installation volume. On the other hand, EVOTEC 250, like the predecessor EVOTEC 200, is available with a flat surface for each height or as a desktop version with or without a recessed area.
The control and indicator panels of the new desktop versions are ergonomically inclined by 12 degrees. Moreover, soft contours facilitate an elegant appearance of the desktop enclosure. That makes the enclosures pleasant to work with, especially when operating data can be recorded quickly and reliably.
Furthermore, EVOTEC 250 offers sufficient space for the installation of 5.7-in. displays with or without touchscreen function. The plastic enclosures have a high degree of stability and are ideal for harsh working conditions.
The 150 version is available in 150 x 93 x 35 mm, while EVOTEC 250 measures 250 x 155 x 54 mm. Both enclosures are made of the UV-resistant, flame-resistant material ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0) in off-white (RAL 9002). And they are certified for the IP 65 protection class.
The top and bottom parts of these enclosures contain domes for securing PCBs. Self-tapping screws are also available in the range of accessories. The assembly kit for each enclosure contains stainless-steel screws with Torx drive and non-slip rubber feet to ensure stable positioning on your desktop.
