Detect switch fits ATCA applications

The MDS Series SMT, micro-miniature, snap-acting detect switch is said to be the industry’s first of its kind for ATCA applications such as medical devices and consumer electronics. Available in vertical or right-angle configurations, the switch features a 2.9-mm travel, 0.3-A contact rating at 6 Vdc, and a 200-mΩ contact resistance.

The switch offers 10,000 mechanical and electrical operations. ($0.35 to $0.57 ea/10,000 — 5 to 7 weeks ARO.)
