A silicon implementation of the
foundry-independent ManArray DSP core (see
Electronic Products , Jan. 1998, p. 53) is
available in development and evaluation tools
only. The Manta DSP chip integrates the company's
2040XL DSP core with PCI, SDRAM, and Mips SysA/D
bus I/O. At 150 MHz, it achieves 24 BOPS and 1.3
GFLOPS.
The company offers the SDK, the Jordan Evaluation
Board, and the Manta Xemulator hardware emulator.
