Polycase has released a new series of diecast aluminum enclosures designed to house sensitive electronic assemblies in commercial and industrial environments. The AN Series of enclosures are rated to NEMA/UL Type 4X, Type 6, Type 6P, Type 12, and Type 13 requirements.
The heavy-duty NEMA enclosures exceed IP67 and IP68 waterproof ratings and are made available in both natural and black powder-coated finish. A silicon gasket ensures protection against water and fluid penetration, while the aluminum housing provides a natural EMI/RFI shield.
The AN Series metallic enclosures are available in 24 sizes, ranging from 1.97 x 1.77-in. to 10.24 x 6.30-in. form factors. And most enclosure sizes come molded on a flange for surface-mounting requirements.
Polycase also provides the option of adding cutouts and graphics to the AN Series NEMA enclosures. The diecast aluminum enclosures are priced as low as $4.48 per unit.
