Dielectric offers low thermal impedance

Specifically formulated for high-power lighting LED applications, the Thermal Clad HPL high thermal dielectric to minimize thermal impedance and efficiently conduct heat. The 0.0015-in. (38-µm) dielectric can withstand high temperatures with a glass transition of 185C, and thermal performance of 0.30C/W (RD 2018).

The RoHS-compliant device is environmentally green, offering a thermal impedance of 0.02°Cin2 /W and thermal conductivity of 3.0 W/m-K. The dielectrics are available in scored array circuits, scored singulated circuit, punched singulated parts, and in LED standard stars and squares configurations.
