The HMC939LP4E/HMC941LP4E wideband SMT GaAs MMIC 5-bit digital attenuators are rated from 0.1 to 33 GHz. These parts exhibit insertion loss as low as 4 dB, and can be programmed to provide up to 31-dB attenuation in 1.0 dB steps (HMC939LP4E) and 15.5 dB attenuation in 0.5 dB steps (HMC941LP4E).
Both feature an attenuation accuracy of ±0.3 dB and a switching speed of 90 ns, and accept positive control voltages of 0/3V or 0/5V. The HMC939LP4E and HMC941LP4E also exhibit high input IP3 performance of up to 45 dBm, allowing them to be used in various locations within a microwave or millimeterwave transceiver.
