Digital Isolators handle 2500 VRMS, 50 Mbit/s

The triple ISO7131 and quad ISO7140 and ISO7141 provide galvanic isolation up to 2500 VRMS for 1 minute per UL and 4242 VPK per VDE. They feature small 5- by 6-mm QSOP16 packages and typical common-mode transient immunity of ±75 kV/µs.

The devices are based on integrated silicon dioxide capacitors and provide both resistance to EMI and lower EMI radiance while yielding a maximum signaling rate of 50 Mbit/s. They incorporate a glitch filter to smooth operation at lower frequencies, take approximately 1 mA per channel, and use 2.7-, 3.3- or 5-V power supplies. From $1.60 ea/1,000.
