The Novum series offers the NDM1-12-12 and NDM1-25-12 digital nonisolated dc/dc PoL modules. They are offered in 12- and 25-A configurations that feature monitoring, programming, and configuring capabilities. The converters support current monitoring, temperature sensing, voltage margining, and voltage sequencing.
The dc/dc PoL modules offer a patented Auto-control technology to ensure stability and improve transient responsiveness. Both modules operate from an 8.5 to 14-V input voltage range and can be programmed to support output voltages from 0.6 to 2.5 V. Programming is handled through a SMBus interface and use PMBus commands for communicating with other devices. The NDM1-12-12 offers 95% efficiency and is available in a DIP package.
