Digital power module delivers 17 A

The ZL9117M encapsulated digital power module delivers 17-A output current. It is configured using the point-and-click PowerNavigator GUI. Built-in auto-compensation algorithms optimize transient response over varying load conditions. The modules operate from 4.5 to 13.2 Vin and provide outputs from 0.6 to 3.6 V, which can be set by external resistors or the PMBus.

The power module features a low-profile 15 x 15–mm QFN package that provides a power density of 1275 W/in.3 The 94% peak efficiency and thermal resistance of 11°C/W helps eliminate the need for a heat sink or air flow for most applications.
