The 3E series BMR463 digital PoL regulator helps monitor and dynamically control the energy for processors, FPGAs, and ASICs. The 20-A-rated device can parallel up to eight modules delivering up to 160 A. Each module can be paralleled and un-paralleled on demand, dynamically tracking and reducing the power consumption. A built-in module-to-module group communication bus (GCB) ensures that current sharing is controlled.
The PoL regulator features 97.1% efficiency, provides an output power up to 66 W, and has a 4.5 to 14-V input range and a 0.6 to 3.3-V output range. Input and output voltages can be programmed on demand via the PMBus, or a pin-strap can accommodate any voltage required by the external circuit. ($11 ea/large qty available now.)
