DIMM memory kits yield top speed

The Project X W1800UX2GP and W1600UX2GP advanced DDR3 memory kits provide fast 1,800- or 1,600-MHz performance with aggressively tuned latencies. The devices employ a cooling solution that offers double the surface area and 106% more aluminum mass than standard heat spreaders, along with a special thermal adhesive.

The kits contain two 1-Gbyte 240-pin non-ECC, unbuffered, DDR3 DIMMs, with either 2.0- or 1.8-V operation. They target gamers, power users, and overclockers, and are suited for motherboards based on the Intel P35 chipset. ($599 and $559—available now.)
