A line of right-angle female DIN connectors has been redesigned to accommodate daughter-card applications. The DIN 41612 connectors are available in type R, R/2, and R/3 variants.
A press-in cover used on every pressfit version enables the type R female connector to be pressed in with a flat rock press-in tool without damaging the contacts. RoHS-compliant through-hole-reflow (THR) versions are built from a high-temperature-resistant material. ($2.80—available now.)
