DIP switches provide reliable operation
Available with two, four, six, or eight positions, the IK Series DIP
switches measure 0.112 (H) x 0.287 (W) in. with a length of 0.236, 0.437,
0.637, or 0.838 in. respectively. Electrical ratings are 100 mA at 48 Vdc
nonswitching and 100 mA at 24 Vdc switching for 2,000 cycles minimum life.
Other specifications include an initial contact resistance of 30 milliohm
max and a dielectric strength of 500 Vac min. The switches have an operating
temperature range of –40° to 100°C and come in both surface-mount
and through-hole configurations. (Typical 8-position through-hole part,
$1.12 ea/1,000–available now.)
