DIP to SOIC adapter in two versions
A surface-mount socket adapter has the same footprint as a 40-pin, 50-
mil-pitch, 450-mil-wide-body SOIC package. The base is designed to be
soldered directly onto the surface-mount pads on the target pc board. The
adapter top contains a female DIP socket that accepts the IC package or
the emulator pod. Two versions are available. The removable-top version
has a removable socket board and a separate base. The fixed-assembly
version is soldered together as a complete unit. (Removable-top version,
