Display processor does audio, HD video, touch
The CX92745 interactive display processor features audio, high-performance video, and capacitive touchscreen functions. The IC has a proprietary image processing pipeline, a high-performance HD video engine, a graphics processing unit, an ARM CPU with a vector floating point unit, large caches, a memory card controller, and a 600-MHz DDR2 memory controller.
The chip has a programmable LCD interface for analog and digital displays, an audio coprocessor, an Ethernet MAC, and USB 2.0 host and device ports. The 400-pin FPBGA-packaged IC has a multichannel 10-bit A/D converter and PWMs with firmware control. ($9 ea/prod qty production January.)
