DisplayPort controller connects LCD displays

The DP606 DisplayPort mobile pc LCD timing controller targets notebook display applications. The device’s one-lane interface supports up to 1680 x 1050 pixels.

The chip features receiver equalizer and clock-data recovery technology that allows the system to skip the initial “link training” protocol for external DisplayPort devices, enabling “instant on.” The low-power chip comes in a 9 x 9-mm QFN64 package. ($1.90 ea/prod qty — samples available now.)
