The PanelPort VPP1101 DisplayPort receiver is fully compliant with the 1.1a standard and allows connection of multimedia devices to any type and size of monitor with a DisplayPort connection. The device is said to significantly reduce EMI on device interfaces by using spread-spectrum clocking.
The chip incorporates a customizable SerDes and advanced serial interface technology. It comes in 128-pin LQFP package and 132-pin dual-row QFN packages. ($6 ea/10,000 — samples available now.)
