The PI3VDP612 3-port DisplayPort switch takes less than 200 µW in full operation, while competitive devices consume up to 1 W. The chip comes in a small, 11 x 5-mm TQFN56 package and has fully integrated ESD protection up to 8 kV.

The switch has a high-speed channel 3-dB bandwidth of 3.25 GHz and operates from a 3.3-Vv supply. It features 7-ps bit-to-bit skew and 33-dB channel crosstalk. ($1.50 ea/100,000 prod qty 4th qtr.)
