Distribution boxes work in harsh environments
Offering IP65/IP67 protection, a line of M8/M12 passive I/O distribution boxes is designed for harsh and humid industrial environments. The control level is connected by a pre-assembled hybrid trunk cable that acts as both the power supply and the data link for sensors and actuators connected to the I/O box.
The M8 devices are available with 3- and 4-pin sockets and with 4, 6, 8, and 10 ports, and the M12 boxes offer 4- and 5-pin sockets (A coded) and four respective 8 ports. The distribution boxes use LEDs to display the status and operation mode of the I/O ports. (M12 4-port version with 3-m trunk cable, from $45 — available now.)
