The MAX2135 diversity tuner integrates two high-performance signal paths that operate from a single fractional-n synthesizer. Packaged in a 7 x 7-mm TQFN, the tuner features a 3.8-dB typ UHF noise figure, and consumes only 330 mW when both signal paths are active and 200 mW when only one path is active.
In addition, the part receives signals in three bands (VHF-low, VHF-III, and UHF) and offers on-chip low-pass filters that accommodate 4-, 6-, 7-, and 8-MHz signal bandwidths, suiting the device for receiving Japan’s ISDB-T and Europe’s DVB-T broadcasts. (From $8 ea/1,000 — available now.)
