The CX95410 document imaging system-on-chip integrates imaging, communications, and peripheral control functions. The chip’s technology eliminates the need for costly line transformers, relays, and optoisolators typically used in discrete data access arrangement (DAA) implementations.
The LQFP176-packaged part has a 180-MHz 32-bit RISC processor, a 120-MHz DSP image processor, and three 288-MHz flexible I/O processors that enable connections to a wide range of peripherals. The SoC also includes A/D converters for image and temperature sensors, with optional features for software-based voice compression/decompression in answering machines and full-duplex speakerphones.
