Maybe you remember the TOTO company from its toilet bike powered by human feces. Now TOTO has developed a toilet that travels to you, wherever you are.

Although it wasn’t designed for the lazy people who don’t feel like getting up to go to the bathroom, it’s still pretty cool.
The Bedside Flushable Toilet was really designed for those who are disabled or elderly and can’t always get up to go to the bathroom. (Who wants to struggle with bedpans, after all?)

The motorized toilet is not fixed in place and can be used just like regular toilet that flushes with the press of a button. For added luxury, the toilet also comes equipped with a bidet feature.
A user’s waste is macerated and pumped away through a 20-mm-wide drainpipe into a tank so no cleanup is required, providing a more sanitary alternative to bedpans. It offers caregivers an easier solution and lets the elderly or bed-ridden experience more freedom.

TOTO is placing the Bedside Flushable Toilet on the market for about $5,500.
