Suited for for broadband, LTE/4G, and test equipment applications, the HMC915LP4E double-balanced GaAs MMIC mixer integrates an LO amplifier and is rated from 0.5 to 2.7 GHz. This wideband converter provides 32 dB of LO-to-RF isolation, and can be used in both upconversion and downconversion applications.
Housed in a 4 x 4-mm QFN SMT package, the device features low conversion loss of 8 dB and a high-input IP3 of 28 dBm. It is well suited for high-side and low-side LO frequency plans with a wide IF bandwidth of up to 1 GHz. The mixer consumes only 88 mA from a single 5-V supply, and features a flexible LO input range of –2 to 6 dBm, allowing it to be driven directly from a synthesizer output.
