Suited for simultaneous processor and memory testing, the CBT-BGA-7002 double-stacked socket has a stamped spring pin contactor with 26 g of actuation force per ball. The contactor also features 0.88-nH self-inductance, a 500,000-insertion cycle life, insertion loss of ≤1 dB at 15.7 GHz, capacitance of 0.097 pF, and a current capacity of 4 A at a 80°C temperature rise.
The socket also features a floating guide for precise ball-to-pin alignment. The 15 x 15-mm processor BGA has a 0.65-mm-pitch 384-position 22 x 22-ball array in the bottom socket.
