DSOs tackle communications applications
Optimized for analysis of communications applications, the TDS 700C
(color) and TDS 500C (monochrome) oscilloscopes offer up to a 4-Gsample/s
real-time sampling rate and a waveform capture rate of up to 400,000 acquisitions/s.
The units include up to 39 automatic telecom and datacom masks (from DS-0
to OC12/STM-4 and Gigabit Ethernet), as well as the ability to build custom
masks.
Available in four- or two-channel models, the oscilloscopes feature
a record length of up to 8 Mbytes and a maximum bandwidth of 1 GHz. An
optional communication signal analyzer package allows the connection of
optical and other communication signals to the scopes. (TDS 700C series,
