DSP-based DAQ unit for portable PCs
The SigBook DSP-based data acquisition module measures 5.5 (L) x 3.5
(W) x 1.5 (D) in. and connects to a portable PC via the enhanced parallel
port or an optional ISA card. Its data acquisition functions include
digital
filtering, spectrum analysis, data logging, simultaneous record and
playback,
continuous and arbitrary waveform generation, and sampling-rate conversion.
The SigBook offers either a 66- or 100-MHz DSP56303 processor, two
16-bit
analog I/O channels with a 90-dB SNR, and sampling rates from 4 to 48 kHz.
A DSP decimation function can be used to achieve sampling rates down to
10 Hz. Optional DSPower-HWLib software provides C/C++, MATLAB, Visual
Basic,
and LabView interfaces. (SigBook, $1,495; DSPower-HWLib, $495–available
