Dual 3-Gbit/s equalizer has crosspoint switch

The M21004 dual-channel backplane equalizer and re-driver is optimized for broadcast video serial digital interface applications. It features less than 50-mW/channel typ power consumption and includes a nonblocking 2×2 crosspoint switch.

Each channel has pin-configurable input equalization and output de-emphasis, enabling it to compensate for long traces and connectors at up to 3.2 Gbits/s. The 4 x 4-mm QFN24-packaged chip can operate from a 1.2 to 3.3-V supply at 40° to 85°C, and has integrated 50-Ω input termination resistors. ($6.75 ea/1,000 — samples available now.)
