Dual-channel difference amps boast fast, accurate measurement
Provide up to 3 times higher bandwidth and slew rate than competitive parts
Designed for applications that require extremely fast and precise measurement without compromising signal fidelity, such as avionics, industrial process controls, and high-performance audio equipment, the 10-MHz AD8270 and 12-MHz AD8273 dual-channel difference amplifiers are claimed to be three times faster than competing parts. In addition, the AD8270 features a 30-V/µs slew rate, which is nearly three times better than the nearest competitive difference amplifier, while the 25-V/µs slew rate of the AD8273 is more than 1.5 times higher than other amplifiers.
Additional features include a CMRR of 86 dB and internal gain-setting resistors. The AD8270 is housed in 16-lead LFCSO package, while the AD8273 is available in a 14-pin SOIC package that is pin- and function-compatible with competing difference amplifiers, which allows designers to substitute the higher-performing part without reconfiguring board layout. (Ea/1,000; AD8270, $1.99; AD8273, $1.65available now.)
