Housed in the 32-pin TQFN, the MAX5072 dual-output dc/dc converter integrates two dc/dc converters with high-side n-channel MOSFETs, a power-on-reset function with manual reset, and a dying gasp output which goes low when the input voltage drops below a preprogrammed voltage. The input voltage range is 4.5 to 5.5 V or 5.5 to 23 V, while its two outputs deliver 1 and 2 A, and can be configured as a buck or boost converter.
Switching frequency is programmable from 200 kHz to 2.2 MHz, and operating temperature is from –40° to 85°C. (From $1.90 ea/1,000�available now.)
