Dual differential amp offers best distortion, noise
Suited for driving high speed 12- to 18-bit A/D converters, the ADL5566 dual-channel differential amplifier features a 3-dB bandwidth of 4.5 GHz. At 100 MHz, this device achieves an IP3 and IP2 of 51 dBm and 100 dBm.
It also supports frequencies of 70, 100, 140, 250, 500, and 1,000 MHz. The part offers a low noise of 1.3 nV/√Hz and 2nd/3rd order distortion levels (2 Vpp into 200 Ω) of –94.5 dBc/–87.2 dBc at 200 MHz (16 dB gain). Slew rate is 16 V/ns.
Housed in a 4 x 4 mm 24-lead LFCSP package, the amplifier offers a power consumption of 70 mA per channel at 3.3 V and 80 mA per channel at 5 V and a power supply range from 2.8 to 5.2 V with channel independent enable function. It offers support for single-ended and differential-input applications. ($6.05 ea/1,000 — available now)
