The BCM3461 is offered as the industry's first fully integrated 40nm DVB-T2 receiver and is claimed 50% more efficient than any other DTT system in the world. The receiver device integrates a LNA, tuner and demodulator on a single-chip that enables better cost and design efficiencies compared to currently available solutions.
It supports DVB-T, DVB-T2 Lite and DVB-T2, driving migration from T1 to T2 and transitioning current analog TV systems directly to DVB-T2. Specs for the tuner include: channel frequency range from 36 to 1,002 MHz, one loop-though buffer output, and one daisy chain buffer output.Dual 13-bit sigma-delta ADCs supports up to 8 MHz channels at low IF (4-5 MHz).
