August 6, 2014 … Eaton will join a panel of leading industry professionals on the growing problem of dangerous counterfeits at the ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law (ABA-IPL) programs during the ABA’s 2014 Annual Meeting in Boston, MA.
Held at the Hynes Convention Center on Aug. 8 from 8:30 to 10 a.m., the panel, “Buyer Beware: Dangerous Counterfeits in the U.S.,” will discuss the problem of dangerous counterfeits, which pose a heightened risk to human health and safety, as well as possible solutions from policy, legislation, implementation, and legal perspectives.
Tom Grace, brand protection manager, Eaton’s Electrical Sector Americas, will join panel participants, such as Pfizer Inc. and U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE), to share and develop best practices and strategies for combating counterfeiting across the U.S. and beyond. In the session, Grace will focus on the dangers of counterfeit electrical products and the importance of cross-industry collaboration in the fight against counterfeiting.
