EBX format SBCs feature low power, cost

The HRC800 Hercules II EBX single-board computer family offers model with or without data acquisition. The SBCs use a low-power 800-MHz VIA Mark CoreFusion CPU with 256 or 512 Mbytes of RAM and 10/100Base-T Ethernet, four RS-232 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, dual IDE controllers, PS/2 keyboard/mouse, and a 2D/3D video controller.

The cards data acquisition section includes 32 16-bit analog inputs with a 250-kHz sample rate and a 2-Ksample FIFO along with four 12-bit analog output channels. The cards operate from 20° to 70°C and take less than 12 W. (From $800 with data acquisition, $500 without data acquisition — available now.)
