The Macraigor Eclipse + GNU Tools Suite is a no-cost embedded debugging tool set with Eclipse 3.2.1, several open-source GNU tools and utilities, and OCDRemote, which provides an interface between Eclipse, the GDB debugger, and a Macraigor on-chip debug device. Versions are available for AMD Geode, ARM, MIPS 32/64, PowerPC, and Xscale processors.

The GNU tools include binutils, gcc, gdb, and gdbtui. The company’s usbDemon universal serial bus interface for JTAG debugging costs $750. (Free download — available now.)
